Goodricke college was the first college to move to York University’s new Heslington East campus during September 2009. The new 600 bed facility provides a mixture of both standard and en-suite accommodation. 

Working with Shepherd Construction, Carleton Furniture designed and installed all kitchen and bedroom furniture as well as soft seating for the common rooms.   The spacious communal kitchens featured cream frontals on contrasting beach cabinets with colourful green or orange splash backs to create a light and airy contemporary feel.
