Nobel House is the legal services department for Defra based at Nobel House, London. The brief for the design was essentially open plan together with a degree of privacy. Carleton’s unique 40mm screen system together with a power block module and tool rail facilities fulfilled this brief.  Each workstation was divided by “tall boy” pull out filing storage units while localised storage was provided using mobile metal pedestals. The workstations were arranged in banks of 2/3/4 and fitted with a top hung shelf. The entire floor consisted of 160 stations which were fitted over a 5 day period.
